Topic Summary research paper
In a nutshell, the assignment is to research a topic of your choice and write a double-spaced 5-page paper (not including title page or bibliography). There should be 5 pages of content (title page, references do not count as content). Paginate and cite references in the text as well as in the bibliography. Citation and bibliography format is your choice. Students have taken one of two approaches in this assignment. Some students pick a topic that has not been covered in the course (e.g., tornadoes, lightning, etc.) and written a general summary of the topic accompanied by a short case study. Other students pick a case study (or studies) that elaborate on a topic covered in the course (e.g. Mt St Helens eruption, 2011 Japan
