Your literature review section should be an overview of research that has already been conducted in the field you are researching. This the main section of the paper and is intended to give the reader an idea of what is already known on your topic. In short, you are SUMMARIZING existing research on your topic. This is where you paraphrase and summarize. More than two or three direct quotes in this paper is too much.
