In this Historal Essay, Students will indentify and explain stereotypes of African American men and women that owner of railroads and other public accommodation used to justify their “Jim Crow” polices. The goal of this Essay is to assess students understanding of the nature of Jim Crow and racial segregation in the American as A National Phenomenon.
