Bringing all of the pieces together that you have learned in this course, create a profile for a consulting firm that includes the following:
- Background/Experience of the firm and firm’s owner/CEO (startup, acquisition, rebrand, etc)
- A work profile: Define and shape the kind of work that the firm will do (actual production, thought work, expert witness, etc)
- A customer profile: Define the typical client for the firm
- A deliverable profile: What is the ultimate production of the work?
- A simple marketing plan: How are clients found?
- A simple financial plan: Where will the money come from and what would be you first 5 years of projected amounts (just based on your experience and what you know about the marketplace – It does not have to be perfect), What expenses will be necessary for you to operate?
- Conclusion: Why is this work necessary? How is this firm uniquely positioned to help solve it?
Formatting and instructions:
- You can choose to deliver this profile in paper form (10-15 pages), Powerpoint slides (15-20 slides), or any other way that your would like to, Just be sure that the reader can easily understand what you are presenting. Graphics and other items should be used at your discretion.
- Do not use first person, if you talk about yourself then do so in third person
- Include at least 7 sources and cite them within your work; Dont forget to include a references list/slide/etc.
