The purpose of this speech is to convince and/or motivate an educated audience about your point of view toward a subject or issue(you may choose your own subject or issue). Your goal is to change or reinforce the audience’s beliefs or actions. Rather than simply arguing for your position, you must recognize the legitimacy of your listeners’ views throughout your speech because they will not all likely agree with you.
You will need at least 5 sources for this speech. Sources may include academic journals, textbooks, trade publications, case studies, popular press, promotional materials, etc., as appropriate to your topic and the presentation assignment.
