The Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment (MBIE) are currently seeking submissions on whether there is a need for law reform in response to an increase in unpaid internships.

Required:

Write a letter to MBIE in which you

·       describe and justify with reasons a specific law change you recommend: OR

·       provide a reasoned argument for why you recommend the law should stay as it is.

The letter should provide at least two reasons in support of your recommendation.

NB. Any recommendation is valid, provided that it is persuasive, logically argued, clear and shows evidence of appropriate engagement with research materials as well as evidence of original thinking.
