For this assignment, you will be asked to choose a crime/offense type and apply a criminological theory to it explaining why it occurs. This is not an opinion piece and will require researching scholarly work that has been written on the topic to justify the connection you have made as well as explaining why other theories are not as suitable to explain your chosen offense. Must be a specific crime or offense, not a broad category.
The paper will be no less than 5 pages in length, require the citation of no less than 5 scholarly sources, and shall correspond to the format as detailed below.
