5. The general format of the paper is as follows:
SECTION 1 – Identification of the issue and why you believe it’s a significant problem.
SECTION 2 – Presentation of the issue from an historical perspective. This section must have at least two scholarly references and be at least 600 words in length.
SECTION 3 – Presentation of the thinking of various criminal justice professionals and researchers regarding the issue. At least one working professional must be interviewed (the interview must be over the phone or in person) and identified and his/her views noted. This is not to be a friend, relative, friend of a friend, etc. You must seek out someone working in the field and that person must be specifically identified along with his/her job title noted. The person interviewed must work in the area of the issue you’ve identified. This section must have at least two scholarly references and be at least 700 words in length.
SECTION 4 – Presentation of the results of the survey instrument. This section must be at least 200 words in length. The survey instrument you used must be attached.
On this section on number 4 you can make up ten people and the result of the intrument survey I will attach.
SECTION 5 – Presentation of potential ways the issue may be resolved. This should include your personal perspective. This section must have at least two scholarly references and must be at least 400 words in length.
SECTION 6 – Conclusion. This section must be at least 200 words in length.
